Neil Davey is a freelance writer who specialises in things you can do sitting down, such as travelling, eating, drinking, watching films, interviewing famous people and playing video games. And catching the occasional salmon
The author of The Bluffer's Guide To Chocolate (published February 2014) and The Bluffer's Guide to Food (published April 2014) , Neil also writes / has written for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, Metro, Square Mile, Delicious Magazine, Sainsbury's Magazine, Escapism, Hello! Square Meal and MSN. He has also appeared on BBC Radio and Jazz FM's Jazz Travels programme.
Thanks to a karaoke machine in Montana, Neil once told a billionaire he'd just met that he loved his sweet little pussycat nose and then sang I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with a famous Hollywood heartthrob. This all took place in the space of 15 minutes. Neil now has a far deeper appreciation of Brokeback Mountain and generally stays away from karaoke machines in Montana.
